My name is “Buck”ley Rudicel and I’m an active team member of our trained, certified, and committed volunteer firefighters for the RRRFPD. My wife and I have lived here in Dorena for over 20 years. I volunteer to be a firefighter because my daughter and grandchildren lost everything they held dear in the Holiday Fire of 2020 while living in Blue River. Her trauma and loss impel me to do all I can to prevent another family experiencing the same tragedy in our beloved community. I am asking for your support and vote. I will bring an operational understanding of our volunteers needs and safety. I hope to provide a positive trajectory for our district’s success, and leadership and support during times of hardship, severe weather incidents, and emergency events. I and my fellow volunteer firefighters, as well as our supportive volunteers, have dedicated hundreds of hours for the success of RRFR and I am committed to seeing everything we have done together be a positive and beneficial aspect of the Row River community.
