FIRE TRUCK

Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District donated this Pierce ‘Dash’ Pumper to us earlier this year. A workhorse in the fire industry, it has a high capacity structural pump and is also outfitted with vehicle extrication equipment and a high flow deluge water cannon on top for vehicle and other very hot fires. The Dash engine is stationed near the Dorena Covered Bridge to cover the mid Row River and Shoreview roads, and is also located close to the Dorena School.

FIRE TRUCK

Generously donated by Scappoose Fire District, this Western States engine was designed and built for communities much like ours, both rural and urban, and is great for both structural and brush fires. The engine is stationed at the Rat Creek satellite station to provide quick coverage to the west end of our District.

This International 490 Engine was made available to us by Pleasant Hill Goshen.  It is a front mounted pumper, easy to operate and has a high capacity water pump for structural response, yet has medium clearance and footprint to access those harder to reach areas.  The remote control bumper water cannon is helpful for vehicular fires as well.  This engine is stationed in Disston at the east end of our District.

FIRE TRUCK

The E-One is our newest attack pumper and was made available to our District by Mohawk Valley Fire.  It has a powerhouse engine and water pump and handles quite well which speeds response on our windy roads.  The engine seats 6 firefighters and the SCBA air packs are incorporated into the seats so they can be donned while en route to a fire.   Also outfitted with extrication equipment, this engine is stationed in Dorena at our temporary headquarters and can rapidly respond in either direction in our valley.
