I was raised right here in Dorena, living on both Lower Brice Creek and near Baker Bay. After graduating from Cottage Grove High School, I embarked on a career in the military, serving proudly in the Navy, Army and Army National Guard retiring after over 23 years. My focus was on operations, recruitment, training, and ensuring safety at all times.

I returned to Cottage Grove, where I owned the Sears Hometown Store for five years. I then gained more professional experience managing teams at Cabela's. Currently, I'm working in commercial sales at Pacific Yurts in Cottage Grove.

I'm deeply rooted in our community, a lifetime member of the VFW and held leadership positions in local organizations like the Cottage Grove Riding Club. I've always believed in giving back and serving the community.

I've been a strong supporter of organized fire response efforts from the beginning. I have a fire trailer and, in September 2022, responded to the trailer fire near Wildwood Falls, helping to put it out. Protecting our homes and preventing fires from spreading is crucial to me. While I support organized fire response, I have strong concerns about the affordability of the proposed tax rate. It must be carefully managed to be sustainable for our community. Taxpayer money must be valued and spent wisely.

I'll prioritize our community's interests and advocate for responsible decision-making. With my experience, leadership skills, and commitment to accountability, I'll work tirelessly to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of our fire district.
